Dr. Allen Silvey - DO

Dr. Allen Silvey is the Founder and CEO of MedCorps Asthma & Pulmonary Specialists, a multi-state practice which he and his wife Carolyn established in 2015. Beyond patient care, Dr. Silvey has advanced pulmonary medicine through both clinical practice and research, serving as Principal Investigator on multiple national and international clinical trials focused on asthma, COPD, and early lung cancer detection, and by launching a high-complexity laboratory that performs respiratory pathogen PCR, allergy blood testing, and complete blood counts (CBCs).

Dr. Silvey completed his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine) in Stratford, NJ, after earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky.

In addition to leading the practice, Dr. Silvey serves as Medical Director for long-term ventilator programs at several nursing and rehabilitation centers, with expertise in ventilator management and ICU leadership. His professional affiliations include the American Osteopathic Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Before beginning his medical career, Dr. Silvey proudly served his country, receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1997 and later retiring from the New Jersey Army National Guard in 2015 as Battalion Surgeon. Outside of medicine he enjoys traveling and time at the shore with his wife and four children in Cape May.

Dr. Peter J. Saccone - DO

I am very happy to be part of Medcorps and to have the opportunity to work in South Jersey. I attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for both medical school and residency. I came to Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine. I was an assistant professor of medicine at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and continue as volunteer faculty to teach physicians of all skill levels. In my spare time, you’ll see me working as a ringside physician for the state of New Jersey. Covering professional fights such as the UFC, PBA, Cage fury, and many others. I was also selected to be the Official Doctor of The Catholic Guy Show with Lino Rulli, a national Catholic radio show on SiriusXM. Aside from medicine, I spend a lot of my time on the soccer pitch coaching and watching my daughter. I also train Brazilian Jiujitsu -earning my purple belt from Hassett’s Jiujitsu in January 2025. I live here in South Jersey, and love spending my free time with my beautiful wife and daughter. It is an honor to take care of this wonderful community, and I look forward to seeing you in the office!

Michelle Hathaway - PA-C

I attended Philadelphia University (currently known as Thomas Jefferson University) and graduated cum laude from their 5-year accelerated program in 2013 with my Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. I am certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Prior to joining MedCorps in 2018, I spent the first five years of my career as a physician assistant working in primary care in the South Jersey area. I currently live in Gloucester County with my husband and we enjoy spending time with family or traveling in our spare time. I look forward to seeing you in our Sewell office!

Devon Lappin - APRN-NP-C

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey, Mahwah, NJ. Prior to joining MedCorps I worked as an emergency room nurse and then as a Primary Care Provider. During this time, I developed my interest in pulmonary medicine and I am looking forward to working with you! In my free time I enjoy spending time at the shore with my family and working on my gardening skills.

Holly McCord MSN, NP-C, APRN

I am a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I received my Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. Prior to joining MedCorps I worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care in Lexington, KY. Along with this experience, I bring with me to the MedCorps family over 23 years of healthcare experience including emergency medicine as a Registered Nurse. I am excited to provide care to the residents of Kentucky in our Maysville office and the patients in New Jersey. When I am not at the Kentukcy office, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and three children.

I am the clinical pharmacist and one of the medical scribes for the practice. I earned my PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. I have been a pharmacist for 13 years, and have experience in retail and long term care settings. I live in South Jersey with my husband and daughter. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking and reading.

I am a board certified physician assistant. I attended Drexel University and graduated magna cum laude from their 5 year accelerated program in 2023 with my Master’s of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. I am certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). I live in West Philadelphia with my fiancé, our dog, and cat. In my free time I enjoy hiking, swing dancing, cooking, and teaching my dog to talk with buttons. I am extremely happy to be a part of the Medcorps Asthma and Pulmonary team that helps to make such a difference in South Jersey. I worked in many different areas at local community hosptials before I attended Stockton University for my BSN, and United States University for my MSN and FNP. I am also a clinical instructor at Atlantic Cape Community College for their nursing program. I really enjoy teaching the new generation of nurses the necessary skills needed for their future success. It is through my extensive experience in many different areas such as Emergency medicine, Cardiac care, pediatrics and Medical Surgical nursing, that I developed a love for pulmonary medicine. Before becoming a nurse, I was a trained chef for about 20+ years, and worked at several high end restaurants, hotels and Michelin rated establishments. I have a previous Bachelors degree in Hotel/Restaurant management from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. While there, I also obtained my specialty as a Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommelier’s. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, golfing, fishing, traveling, especially to the Florida Keys, taking care of my cats, and enjoying good music.

I am MedCorps' Practice Nurse. I earned my bachelor's degree from East Carolina University and my nursing degree from Gloucester County College. I am currently working towards my bachelor's of nursing degree. I have been in the nursing field for 10 years now. My work history includes Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ and also PENN Presbyterian Hospital in PA. I love spending time with my husband and 4 children in Cape May and we travel whenever we can. I have also completed 8 triathlons so far. I am a Registered Nurse at MedCorps. I graduated from Helene Fuld School of nursing and also have an Associates degree in Science. I have been a nurse for 15 years and have worked on long-term care and ventilator units. When outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my dog. My other interests include Art, Comedy, and Music. I love being a nurse and caring for and helping others.

Marlyn Damiano MA

I am a Medical Assistant in the Sewell office. I am thrilled to join the Medcorps family. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and an Associates in Business Administration. I have been married to my husband since 2011 and we have a Toy Poodle. I love to head to the gym, read, watch movies, travel, and spend time with my poodle and my husband. Hope to meet you soon!

Brenda Gabrielli - LPN

I'm a proud mom to one incredible son and his fabulous fiance. I am a devoted grandmother to my beautiful 5½-year-old twin granddaughters—they are the light of my life, and I treasure every moment I get to spend with them. I’ve been a nurse for nearly 35 years, with the majority of my career in sub-acute rehab and ventilator units. Recently, 3 ½ yrs, ago I made an exciting career shift to Medcorps, as I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse and started a new chapter that I am thrilled to explore. I'm also a passionate advocate for ALS awareness and Autism. Both are very close to my heart due to personal family experience.

I started off as a CNA working for a nursing home for 16 and a half years and wet on to becoming a Unit Secretary and the a staffing coordinator. Grace Foster - MA

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant at Medcorps Asthma & Pulmonary, where I also serve as one of our Respiratory Technicians. I’m an alumna of the Atlantic County Institute of Technology’s Medical Assisting Program, and you’ll often find me setting up Home Sleep Studies or guiding patients through pulmonary function tests. Over the summer, I even had the chance to help Medcorps create fun videos for our social media pages (check us out on Facebook!). I truly love being part of a team that helps people breathe easier and feel their best. Outside of the office, I’m continuing my education at Stockton University, pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with plans to enter the Accelerated Nursing Program. Before that, I earned my Associate’s degree in Health Sciences from Atlantic Cape Community College. When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me outdoors—whether I’m fishing in saltwater or freshwater, or rowing along the waters of Brigantine.

I take great pride in serving as the receptionist and the face of our Linwood office. Over the past 8 years at Medcorps, I’ve grown both personally and professionally by working alongside a team of highly skilled doctors and staff. With more than 23 years of prior experience managing another practice, I brought a strong foundation of knowledge to this role, which has only deepened over time. Medcorps is a high-volume practice, and I thrive in its fast-paced environment. Multitasking without compromising patient service is my top priority, and my compassion and attention to detail have helped me build many lasting relationships with patients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, I’ve been happily married to my husband for 30 years, and we have one child. As a family, we enjoy spending time at the beach, boating, and cheering on our favorite teams—the Phillies and the Philadelphia Union—whenever we can.

Tina Kinney - APN

Before this role, I dedicated eight years to urgent care, contributing to a 33-year nursing career that also includes comprehensive work in critical and cardiopulmonary care. Outside of my professional life, I value time with my family which includes my husband of 36 years, our two amazing sons, and our two beautiful granddaughters.

Melinda Morgan - LPN

I am an LPN at MedCorps’ Maysville, KY office. I graduated from Maysville Community and Technical College in 2007, and quickly learned that being a nurse is what I love to do. I have worked in a few different disciplines: hospital, clinic, corrections, and urgent care. I love spending time with my family, my church family, being outdoors, and traveling. I am certified phlebotomist. Where I worked at Cape Regional Hospital for over ten years. I have experience in working in the lab and performing blood draws on 40 plus patients daily. While at Cape Regional Hospital I also worked at the outreach program where I found a love with working with the senior living. I look forward on being a part of the MedCorps team.

I became part of the Medcorps family in 2017. I am the billing/office manager of the Sewell office. I am a certified medical assistant, phlebotomist and medical insurance claims billing specialist. I am also a NJ state licensed notary. I currently live in south Jersey with my 3 sons who keep me extremely busy and young. As Director of Human Resources and Marketing at Medcorps Asthma & Pulmonary Specialists, I bring over 15 years of corporate management experience to my role, focusing on supporting our team and helping Medcorps grow into more communities by expanding access to specialized pulmonary care. I currently live in Gloucester County with my wife, and we love to travel. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active in the gym, relaxing at the beach, and playing golf whenever I can.

Toby Lorge - Medical Scribe

I am MedCorps medical scribe. My job is to keep our providers focused on our most important asset; our patients. I'm responsible for the clinical documentation and diagnostic/medication orders for each encounter. I bring to the table 17 + years of medical knowledge and experience. I received my training in the US Navy Hospital Corps. I'm happily married with 3 beautiful daughters. In my FreeTime I love spending time with my girls. I am happy and privileged to be part of this amazing team.
